Call for papers, SINGAPORE ECONOMETRIC STUDY GROUP (SESG) meeting, July 9, 2007

We are in the process of organizing the programme for the fourth meeting of SINGAPORE ECONOMETRIC STUDY GROUP (SESG) at Singapore Management University in Singapore on Monday, July 9, 2007. At present we are planning a one-day meeting. If needed, we will have a two-day meeting held on Sunday-Monday July 8-9, 2007. We are pleased to announce that Professor Eric Ghysels (http://www.unc.edu/~eghysels/) at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, and Professor Frank Diebold (http://www.ssc.upenn.edu/~fdiebold/) at University of Pennsylvania have accepted our invitation to deliever invited lectures during our meeting. In addition, the keynote speaker in 2005 and 2006, Professor Peter C.B. Phillips (http://cowles.econ.yale.edu/faculty/phillips/) at Yale University has also confirmed the participation to the meeting.

We invite submissions of papers in econometrics, both theoretical and applied, as well as empirical analyses of economic and finance issues. There is a conference registration fee of S$40. Submissions are now welcome from anyone wishing to present a paper. Submissions should reach us the latest by May 1, 2006.

While we are not able to cover travel expenses for paper presenters, this year our school has allocated some fund to the SESG meeting. As a result, we may be able to cover local expenses for some paper presenters. If you need financial support from us, please indicate in your submission.
